Greta
What can we say about Greta!? Her early life is unknown so likely she was not well socialized. She was living on the streets tied to a shopping cart when she was relinquished to CCP.
She is friendly with people and selective about her dog friends. She has played with multiple other dogs, but her style is too rough to be polite. She is VERY interested in chasing wildlife and is unlikely to do well in a home with cats.
Tucker
Tucker
Tucker and Lucy are a bonded pair and would prefer to be adopted together. Their owner loved them but was hospitalized and unable to care for them any longer. Her family did their best but faced a lot of obstacles which resulted in often only visiting them once daily. Ultimately rehoming was the only option that made sense.
Tucker is a timid guy but if you let him warm up he will snuggle (until Lucy pushes him out of the way). He loves having a yard. We are working with him on confinement anxiety and building his confidence.
Lucy
Lucy is Tucker's other half. She is more confident than he is in most situations. She will let you know if intruders are outside! She is worried about strangers until they become her friends. She will bark at first but hasn't taken longer than a couple hours to warm up and feeding her speeds up the friend-making process. We are working with her on confinement anxiety and leash walking.
