Our beautiful girl, Greta
Greta was surrendered from a homeless individual to CCP at only 1 year 9 months old and was tied to a shopping cart so tightly she couldn’t lower her head to sleep. In her young life she’d already been surrendered to the animal shelter twice! Since coming into the care of CCP, Greta has had comprehensive healthcare, dental care, behavioral therapy and training. Her journey to find her furever home is underway!
Greta is loving and although she’s a tall girl she still doesn’t understand that she can’t fit in your lap! She LOVES cuddling up with you, enjoys long walks, or just lounging around. She is a very easy dog to enjoy and a wonderful companion.
Greta is a little over 2 yrs. old and around 52 lbs.
Tucker
Tucker
Tucker and Lucy are a bonded pair and would prefer to be adopted together. Their owner loved them but was hospitalized and unable to care for them any longer. Her family did their best but faced a lot of obstacles which resulted in often only visiting them once daily. Ultimately rehoming was the only option that made sense.
Tucker is a timid guy but if you let him warm up he will snuggle (until Lucy pushes him out of the way). He loves having a yard. We are working with him on confinement anxiety and building his confidence.
Lucy
Lucy is Tucker's other half. She is more confident than he is in most situations. She will let you know if intruders are outside! She is worried about strangers until they become her friends. She will bark at first but hasn't taken longer than a couple hours to warm up and feeding her speeds up the friend-making process. We are working with her on confinement anxiety and leash walking.
Henry
Baby Henry came to us at almost 10 weeks old. He is an amazingly smart, fearless and happy little guy! This pup loves to learn and enjoys going to his classes at Zoom Room, going out to eat so he can meet people (very well behaved!), going on car rides and taking short walks in the neighborhood. Henry is just a baby so he’s learning about the world around him and loving every minute of it! He works hard at finding his furever home every time he gets out in public by throwing himself at someone’s feet and rolling over for belly rubs! He is just too cute for words!
