Mission
Canine Care Project, based in DFW Texas, is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need. Our mission is to provide them with medical care, training and a safe haven until they find their forever homes.

Medical Care
Each dog's individual medical needs are considered. All dogs in our care receive required vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, a physical exam and a dental exam are also provided.
Behavioral health is as important as physical health to CCP. Each dog is assessed and receives a tailored training plan. If the dog has high levels of fear or stress, they are evaluated at Veterinary Behavior Solutions.
Training Programs

Pets in our care receive basic training required for living in a human-centric world. They may learn house manners in our healing home or receive a more in-depth education with our partners for day training or board and train. Either way, we and our partners never use pain or fear for training. Tools that hurt or scare dogs have no place in modern dog training.
Placement
​
We provide ongoing support and guidance to adopters for a seamless transition and a successful bond with their new furry family members.
